Method
- Fry ½ sliced onion for 4 min, add 100 g of beef mince and break it up with a spatula.
- Season with 1 pinch of cinnamon, salt and black pepper, then cook for 6 min until the liquid has evaporated.
- A filling that's too wet would pierce the brick pastry as it cooks: leave it to cool completely.
- Add 5 g of chopped parsley, then spoon the filling in a line along 3 brick pastry sheets folded in half.
- Roll each bourek up tightly, tucking in the sides, and seal the edge with a wet finger.
- Fry them for 3 min on each side in 2 tbsp of sunflower oil and serve straight away, piping hot.
