Android test · before launch

Try ioumi on your Android before anyone else.

ioumi plans your week's meals and your shopping list, then learns what you like. Before the Google Play launch, I need people to really use it and tell me what's wrong.

An Android phone A Google account
Before anyone else

ioumi is on your phone before it reaches Google Play, and every new version lands on it as soon as it ships.

No form to fill in

There's no email address to leave: the testers' group opens the test to you straight away.

It really helps me

Google requires 12 testers over 14 days before it lets an app launch. Every tester counts.

Two taps and you're testing

On your Android phone, with the Google account your Play Store uses.

  1. Join the testers' group.Join the group
  2. Become a tester, then install ioumi from Google Play.Become a tester
  3. Keep the app for 14 days.

Plan a few meals and do your shopping with it. A bug, an idea: write to me at contact@ioumi.fr.

Common questions

Before you start

What if I have an iPhone?

For now, the test runs on Android. The web version is the same app: you can add it to your home screen from Safari. Open ioumi.

Does it cost anything?

No. The test is free, with no card details needed. On launch day, you keep your account and your meals.

Why a Google group?

Google Play only opens a test version to invited Google accounts. Joining the group invites your account straight away, with no form to fill in. Make sure you use the account signed in to the Play Store on your phone.

Google Play says “Item not found”

The Google account on your Play Store isn't the one that joined the group. Join the group from your phone, with that account, then tap “Become a tester” again. If you've only just joined, give it a few minutes.

What about my data?

This page asks you for nothing. When you join the group, I can see your Google account's email address, because I run the group: it's only used to open the test to you. To stop, leave the group or the test from Google Play. Details in the privacy policy.
