Terms of sale

This translation is provided for convenience. Only the French version is binding.

Premium offer suspended. Since 5 October 2026, the Premium offer has been suspended: no new subscriptions can be taken out until further notice. These terms continue to apply, unchanged, to subscriptions and trial periods taken out before that date.

Purpose

These terms of sale (“Terms”) govern subscription to the paid “ioumi Premium” offer available within the ioumi app, published by Paul JANISSON. Any subscription to the Premium offer implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms.

Description of the service

ioumi offers two levels of use:

The Premium offer comes in three plans, all by subscription:

The list of Premium features can also be viewed at any time in the app, under “Settings”, and at https://ioumi.fr/premium.html. The publisher reserves the right to change the respective scope of the free and Premium versions, as well as the maximum number of accounts included in the Duo and Family plans; any reduction in the scope of the Premium offer during a subscription will be communicated to the user.

Prices

When open for subscription, the Premium offer is available in six subscription plans, displayed and billed in euros including VAT at the time of subscription:

Subscriptions (Solo, Duo, Family) taken out on the website include, for users who have never had one, a 14-day free trial with no card details required; nothing is charged if the user does not continue at the end of the trial. Subscriptions taken out from the iOS or Android app are sold, billed and cancelled by the App Store or by Google Play: the price, and whether a trial period exists and how long it lasts, are those displayed by the store at the time of purchase, and payment requires a payment method registered with that store.

The prices displayed in the app at the time of subscription are the ones that apply. The publisher reserves the right to change its prices at any time; any change will apply to new subscriptions and, for current subscriptions, at the earliest from the next renewal, with prior notice to the user.

Referrals

Since 5 October 2026, the referral programme has been discontinued: referral codes are no longer accepted and no new Premium period is granted on that basis. Premium periods earned through referrals before that date remain valid until they end, under the conditions that applied when they were granted: they run one after another, involve no payment, do not renew and end by themselves, with no action needed from the user. They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged or refunded. The publisher may withdraw a benefit obtained through abuse (creation of fake accounts, automation).

Payment terms

Payment is made online by bank card through the payment provider Stripe, at the time of subscription. The publisher neither collects nor stores any card details: they are processed directly by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS certified.

Term, renewal and cancellation

The Premium subscription is taken out for the chosen term (monthly or annual) and renews automatically, for the same term, unless cancelled by the user before the renewal date. Cancellation can be made at any time under “Settings” in the app, or by writing to contact@ioumi.fr. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: no pro-rata refund is made for the current period, unless the law provides otherwise.

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the Code de la consommation (French Consumer Code), the user in principle has 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal on an online purchase. However, as this is digital content supplied immediately (immediate access to Premium features from the moment of subscription, trial period included), the user is asked, at the time of subscription, to give their express agreement to immediate access to the service and to expressly waive their right of withdrawal, in accordance with Article L.221-28 13° of the Code de la consommation. This consent is collected through a mandatory checkbox, shown in the subscription flow before any payment.

Outside this case, and for any exceptional refund request (service malfunction, billing error), the user may contact contact@ioumi.fr.

Account deletion

The user may permanently delete their account and synced data at any time under “Settings”. This deletion is irreversible. Where the subscription was taken out on the website (Stripe payment), deleting the account immediately cancels the current subscription: no further charge is made, and the period already paid for is not refunded pro rata. Where the subscription was taken out from the iOS or Android app, it is managed by the App Store or by Google Play: ioumi has no technical means of cancelling it, and the user must do so themselves in their App Store or Google Play account settings, before deleting their ioumi account. If the deleted user is the owner of a household on the Duo or Family plan, the other members of that household lose access to Premium features and to real-time syncing, under the same conditions as in the event of cancellation (see “Description of the service”).

Service availability

The publisher takes reasonable steps to ensure access to ioumi but does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted availability of the service, in particular in the event of maintenance, outage or malfunction of third-party providers (hosting, payment). The free version remains usable locally even when the sync service is unavailable.

Consumer mediation

In accordance with the provisions of the Code de la consommation on “the mediation process for consumer disputes”, after contacting us and if you are not satisfied with our reply, you may use a free consumer mediation procedure with:
